Hendrick Automotive Group needed pavement, sealcoating, striping, and concrete work across 7 automotive properties in Cary, Durham, and Greenville, North Carolina. Combined, the work totaled more than 1.07M square feet across dealership lots, service areas, customer-facing spaces, and collision center properties.
Each location had its own set of conditions. Some lots were older than others. Some experienced different traffic patterns, drainage concerns, weather exposure, and operational demands. That meant the work could not be approached as one solution repeated seven times.
Diamond Solutions developed a coordinated multi-site approach that matched the right scope to each property while helping Hendrick maintain a consistent standard across the group. PHASE 1: SITE-SPECIFIC PLANNING
Before work began, Diamond evaluated the needs of each Hendrick location and planned the right scope for each property. Because every lot had different pavement conditions, traffic patterns, age, drainage, and operational requirements, the team built a plan that could flex by site while still maintaining a consistent standard across the full program.
PHASE 2: COORDINATED MULTI-SITE EXECUTION
Diamond completed work across 7 Hendrick Automotive Group properties in Cary, Durham, and Greenville. Depending on the needs of each location, the scope included 4-inch mill and pave, 2-inch mill and overlay, crack sealing, sealcoating, striping, curb cleaning, base repair, tree root removal, and concrete sidewalk repair/replacement.
PHASE 3: PROTECTING ACTIVE DEALERSHIP OPERATIONS
Automotive lots are active business environments. They support customer parking, vehicle inventory, service access, employee movement, and sales activity every day. Diamond coordinated work around each property’s operational needs to help minimize disruption while keeping the project moving efficiently.
