Pine Tree owns and operates open-air shopping centers, including properties in some of the hardest markets in the country to service. These are grocery-anchored centers that a whole community drives through every week, and they sit in remote places where crews and materials are scarce and getting pavement work done on a deadline is genuinely hard. When the pavement needs work, Pine Tree needs a partner who will actually show up.
Diamond Solutions is that partner. Across North Dakota, Diamond has completed pavement work at two Pine Tree centers, Watford Plaza in Watford City and Southgate Crossing in Minot, from crack sealing and full restripes to full-depth asphalt repair. Both were delivered on tight timelines, staged around open stores, and held to one standard even in markets where local crews and materials are scarce and expensive.
The value is the same at every property: one partner who will take on the hard-to-reach sites, size the work to what the lot actually needs, price it straight, and keep the center open while the work gets done. That is what turns a single hard-to-fill job into a relationship, and Pine Tree has since invited Diamond to bid additional properties.
PORTFOLIO AT A GLANCE
- Watford City, ND (featured): a busy grocery-anchored center in the far northwest corner of the state, out in the oil patch and hours from the nearest metro. A full-lot refresh on a one-week rush.
- Minot, ND: a retail center completed in the same stretch of work, with crack sealing, restriping, and repairs to the same standard.
PICTURED PROJECT: Watford City, ND
Watford City sits out in the North Dakota oil patch, hours from any major metro. It is a genuinely hard place to get pavement work done: crews and materials are scarce that far out. When Pine Tree needed the lot at Watford Plaza brought back into shape fast, on an ASAP timeline, sourcing the job was a project in itself, and the local pricing Diamond turned up while lining up crews ran high and inconsistent. Diamond took it on anyway, sourced crews into the market, held the price to Pine Tree honest, and compressed a two-week schedule into about one. Across the lot, Diamond crack-sealed 9,453 linear feet, re-striped the entire property with fresh parking stalls, cross-hatches, and ADA stencils, and removed and replaced a failed section of asphalt down to a full four-inch depth, running the crack sealing and striping overnight so the plaza stayed open the whole time.
