The Steak `n Shake in Battle Creek, Michigan is just one of hundreds of restaurant locations across the USA that require routine parking lot maintenance. And that asphalt work needs to be completed on a schedule that doesn't disrupt business.

Do you ever watch those home renovation shows on HGTV? There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a worn-down home undergo an incredible transformation. What happens when you scale that concept to an entire apartment community? You get something that looks a lot like this "GoodHomes Detroit" case study -- minus the TV lights and cameras!
The new owners had a fixed budget to tackle extensive concrete and asphalt work around the outside of the apartment community. (They were simultaneously renovating the interior of the buildings.) We worked through multiple options to find the right solution for sidewalks, parking lots and a pool deck that delivered optimal value and a refreshed look to the property.

It should go without saying that attention to detail and schedule flexibility are absolutely essential when a paving project unfolds directly between an emergency room entrance and a helicopter pad. This was indeed the challenging scenario that unfolded at the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center located near Wilmington, NC.
Our team worked hand-in-hand with hospital leadership to ensure there would be 24-hour access to the emergency room during construction. Each phase of the project unfolded as planned and now there's a new concrete driveway leading into the ER entrance that offers a smooth final approach for each ambulance arrival.

You don't need to be a sports fan to appreciate the enormous scale of college football facilities. These stadiums (and surrounding parking lots) are huge! The University of South Carolina needed routine asphalt maintenance work completed across more than a quarter-million square feet of surface.
This is one of those projects where the turnaround time was tight. The work needed to be completed before the college football season kicked off. Diamond quickly mobilized our crews to make sure the job was done right and completed ahead of schedule.

Outdoor storage space is at the heart of business for Sun Gro. They're the leading supplier of peat moss and horticultural growing products in North America.
Their storage facility near Greenville, SC had a problem. Water was pooling after rain plus the soil was constantly wet and unstable. Product was being lost because of the water and the working conditions were extremely messy.
The solution was simple: concrete storage pads.
